back to articles>> The Merkaba Geometric by Heather Shock This animated geometric is a representation of the merkaba. The word merkaba comes from ancient Egyptian and is the name given to the geometric energy field around our bodies. It is actually three words strung together: Mer means counter rotating fields of light. Ka means spirit and Ba means body. So the Mer-Ka-Ba is a counter rotating field of light that affects spirit and body simultaneously.

The geometric shape of the merkaba is a star tetrahedron and there are three of them superimposed on each other (a trinity). It is a vehicle that can not only take spirit and body from one dimension to another it can also create reality. It gives us an expanded awareness of who we are by connecting us with higher levels of consciousness. In other words it plugs us back in so we wake up and remember our true nature! When a person's merkaba is activated it spins at close to the speed of light. And, of the three star tetrahedron's one spins clockwise, one anti-clockwise and the third remains stationary. Depending on a person's height their merkaba can be 50 to 60 feet in diameter when healthily spinning. Activation takes place through correct breathing, clarity of intention and existing in a state of unconditional love. You can visually see if a person's merkaba is active because they will exude a radiance, appear more youthful than their chronological age and relate to others through detached involvement.
